Courtyard Quests, Upgraded: More Ways Than Ever to Earn Courtyard Points & Free Packs
On Courtyard, collectors of trading cards, sneakers, watches, coins, and comics can rip digital packs and get physical collectibles—or instant buybacks—putting the thrill of the rip in their pocket. Now, the quests they accomplish while doing so have gotten an upgrade.
Meet the new lineup of Courtyard quests.
Starting today, Courtyard’s weekly quests not only reward collectors for purchasing packs, but for taking actions like making their Free Daily Roll for Courtyard Points, favoriting items in their collection, commenting on other collectors’ items, and more. These exciting new changes not only mean more ways to earn Courtyard Points, but a higher ceiling for weekly Courtyard Points, too.
TL;DR:
- Courtyard's weekly quests are changing.
- Collectors will have more ways to earn Courtyard Points.
- Less Courtyard quests will require collectors to purchase packs.
- Courtyard Points can be used to get free packs and enter raffles.
- Keep an eye out for more updates to Courtyard quests.

What Are Courtyard Quests?
Quests are weekly challenges found in each collector’s Rewards Hub. Every quest grants users Courtyard Points, which can be used to get free—yes, free—packs, from Pokémon and One Piece to Basketball, Hockey, and more. Finish a quest, claim the points, and they’re added to your balance.
Note: Quests reset every Tuesday, and progress from unfinished quests doesn’t carry over.

What Are Courtyard Points?
Courtyard Rewards were introduced in June to give collectors perks ranging from free packs and protected pulls to exclusive drops and free shipping. At the center of this system are Courtyard Points, which can be earned through weekly quests and the Free Daily Roll to unlock free packs.
For every 5,000 Courtyard Points you earn, you get a free $25 Starter Pack of your choosing. Build towards a free Starter Pack, or stack your Courtyard Points even higher so you can get a more valuable pack—and chase even bigger grails.
Courtyard Points can be found under each collector’s Rewards tab, and each Courtyard Point expires one year from the date it was originally earned.
What’s New: More Ways to Earn
Every week, collectors on Courtyard will have a number of quests to choose from, offering more variety—and ways to earn Courtyard Points—than ever before. While the quests themselves are subject to change, a staple of the new quests is the ability to earn Courtyard Points without purchasing packs. Below are the most recent quests, for reference:
- Favorite 10 items: earn 20 Courtyard Points
- Pull an item worth $25 or more: earn 50 Courtyard Points
- Upvote 10 comments: earn 80 Courtyard Points
- Get 5 upvotes on a comment: earn 100 Courtyard Points
- Reach a 3-day Roll Streak: earn 100 Courtyard Points
- Open a Pack: earn 100 Courtyard Points
- Buy 2 items on the Marketplace: earn 100 Courtyard Points
- Make an offer on an item: earn 100 Courtyard Points
- Open 3 Packs in one day: earn 150 Courtyard Points
- Open 10 Packs: earn 500 Courtyard Points
- Open 5 Limited Packs: earn 500 Courtyard Points
- Open 5 One Piece Packs: earn 500 Courtyard Points
As you can see, some of the new quests don't require a purchase: simply favorite items, upvote comments, and you can get Courtyard Points to put towards free packs.
Collectors on Courtyard can earn a total of 2,300 Courtyard Points each week through quests alone, getting them more than halfway to earning a free $25 pack of their choosing, from free Pokémon cards to sports slabs! And don’t forget the Free Daily Roll, which allows collectors to earn even more free points by trying to time their roll, stopping their roll when the highest total number of Courtyard Points is shown on the screen. The Free Daily Roll can be found in the Quests section under the Rewards Tab.

Pack Quests Are Still Here
We all love to rip a pack or two. That’s why ripping packs on Courtyard remains one of the best ways to earn Courtyard Points. Buy packs featuring your favorite collectibles, purchase Limited Drop packs, and watch your Courtyard Points balance grow. Active collectors on Courtyard always have something new to chase, and we’re committed to rewarding them for doing so.
What Can You Get With Courtyard Points?
On Courtyard, every item found within a pack is authenticated and/or graded by third parties like PSA, BGS, and more, so you can trust that what you see is what you get. And for every 5,000 Courtyard Points you earn, you get a free $25 Starter Pack of your choosing. Build towards a free Starter Pack, or stack your Courtyard Points even higher so you can get a more valuable pack—and chase even bigger grails.
For those that are ready to rip, here are a few of the chase cards waiting in Courtyard’s various Starter Packs:
1996 Pokémon Japanese Basic Charizard Holo (PSA 4): $399

Just remember not to wait too long; Courtyard Points expire one year from the date you earned them.
In addition to free packs, Courtyard Points can also be used to enter raffles. Found under the Events tab, raffles offer one free entry per user, plus additional entries for a specified number of Courtyard Points, with prizes ranging from cards to collectibles.
On Courtyard, there are always new ways to win.

New Feature: Courtyard Promo Codes and Coupons That Apply Themselves
Courtyard is always working hard to ensure collectors have the best experience possible, and that’s why we’re ensuring that the coupons they receive are easier to find than ever before.
Now, promo codes will appear in the Rewards Hub, under Promotions, so they’re easier than ever to use. And just in case they slip your mind, we’ll make sure any promo codes available in a collector’s account are flagged when they go to purchase a pack, via a “promo eligible” tag that shows while collectors are browsing packs.
Don’t worry, you still get to choose if and when you use your coupons.
