On November 1st, 2021, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen told the Manning Cast that he wouldn’t jump through a folding table until the Bills won the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Bills Mafia, the nickname given to Bills fans across Western New York and throughout the globe, have been smashing tables for years. The franchise continues to be haunted by both Patrick Mahomes and “wide right!”, but that hasn’t dissuaded fans or collectors alike from chasing the charismatic QB.
In fact, the most expensive Buffalo Bills card ever sold is Josh Allen’s 2018 Rookie Patch Auto Platinum Shield 1/1 (PSA 8.5), which sold privately in 2026 for a record $1.7 million. Not only that, but Josh Allen holds all five of the highest verified sales for any Buffalo Bills cards in history.
Naturally, the most valuable Buffalo Bills cards ever sold all belong to none other than Josh Allen himself. Not Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, who famously led the team to four-straight Super Bowls, or his famous defensive teammate Bruce Smith; not even the one and only O.J. Simpson, can dethrone Allen’s aura.
His 2018 National Treasures Rookie Patch Auto Platinum NFL Shield 1/1 (PSA 8.5) sold privately for a record $1.7 million on August 6th, 2026, and is followed by similar rookie cards: a $1.35M Topps Chrome Honors MVP Shield 1/1 Josh Allen Rookie Card, a $288,000 Holo Gold /10 Josh Allen Rookie Card, a $264,000 Prizm Gold Vinyl /5 Josh Allen Rookie Card, and a $240,000 Red Rookie Patch Auto 1/1 Josh Allen Rookie Card.
The $1.7 million sale makes Allen one of only five NFL players—fellow quarterbacks Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert (yikes), and Joe Burrow—that have two or more $1 million card sales. Of those five, he’s one of the three without a Super Bowl ring, something he’s desperately trying to change.
Clearly, Bills fans and collectors alike believer (or Billieve), as our 2026 NFL Card List, which uses collector data to chart the most popular football cards to collect on Courtyard, features Allen as one of just three S-Tier players, meaning collectors on Courtyard.io that pull a Josh Allen keep the card more than they do for nearly any other player on the platform.
Below is a list featuring the most expensive cards featuring a Bills legend, either in a Bills jersey or the jersey of a team they played for before or after their time in Buffalo, ranked by the highest verified sale.
Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for: “The Bills make me want to shout!”

In 2020, this card sold for $7,000. In January of 2022, it sold for $264,000. Timing is everything.
5. 2018 Panini National Treasures Josh Allen Red RPA 1/1 – $240,000

The Best-Selling Bills Cards From the Rest of the Bills’ Roster
Believe it or not, the Bills are a football team made up of 53 players. Josh Allen can’t do it all alone, and collectors have taken notice, buying up plenty of other Bills cards over the years. While none have topped the star QB, here are the runners up:
1984 Topps USFL Jim Kelly Rookie Card #36 (PSA 10) – $11,000
The Hall of Fame quarterback’s all-time top sale is a PSA 10 rookie card from his USFL days, back before he joined the Bills—the team he’d later try to buy in an attempt to keep them from leaving town. The card went for $11,000 in February of 2025, topping the sale of 2024 Donruss Downtown Gold #15 Jim Kelly / Josh Allen PSA 10 Gem Mint that sold for $5,452 a month later.
1970 Topps Super Glossy O.J. Simpson Rookie Card (PSA 9) – $7,567
Many of today’s collectors only know O.J. from his pop culture (and possibly criminal) exploits. However, back in the day he was a game-changing running back, earning him Hall of Fame honors years later. This rookie card commemorates his first year in the league, and sold for $7,567 in 2021.
1986 Topps Bruce Smith Rookie Card #389 (PSA 10) – $6,811
Another Hall of Famer from the Bills’ early ‘90s run of Super Bowl appearances, Bruce Smith was an absolute monster on defense. His rookie card, which turned 40 this year, sold for $6,811 in December of 2025.
1998 Skybox Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems (PMG) Andre Reed /50 (BGS 9)
Unlike the other cards on this list, Andre Reed’s 1998 Skybox Metal Universe Precious Gems isn’t a rookie card. Even still, Reed is, like all the other players on this list, a Hall of Famer, and his gold jacket, combined with the sought after set, helped this card to sell for $4,300.
Other Bills stars that the Bills Mafia will want to track down are Thurman Thomas, the formidable running back who starred for the Bills for 11 seasons, including their four trips to the Super Bowl, and Stefon Diggs, the current wideout that is both loved and hated in Buffalo after leaving the team following four-straight 1,000-receiving-yard seasons.

However, none of these are the most expensive card to ever be pulled from a Courtyard.io pack. That title belongs to the 2018 Panini Prizm Stained Glass #SG-8 Josh Allen - Gold Mojo (PSA 10 GEM MINT) that was pulled out of a Sports Cosmic Pack by a lucky collector on Courtyard.io. It has since been shipped to them, and will undoubtedly be the crown jewel of their collection.
