2009 Upper Deck Now Appearing #NA-6 Michael Jordan (PSA 9 MINT)
Collectors commonly call this Upper Deck Now Appearing insert the “Scarface” card thanks to the black-and-white photo of Jordan hunched-over, hearkening back to the movie’s key art featuring none other than Tony Montana. “Say hello to my little friend!”
2000 Fleer #352 Tom Brady/Dave Stachelski Rookie Card (PSA 10 GEM MINT)
This is a Tom Brady rookie card. Enough said. Sharing space with Dave Stachelski via Fleer’s Rookies to Watch subset, the card was printed before Brady won seven Super Bowls, the most of any player in NFL history. PSA has graded roughly 3,500 copies of this card, and only a small share earned the coveted PSA 10. This card is one of them.
1979 O-Pee-Chee #18 Wayne Gretzky Rookie Card(PSA 5 EX)
Another rookie card, and from the highly praised O-Pee-Chee print, no less. A PSA 10 of this card became the first hockey card to sell for more than $1 million when it went for $1.29 million at Heritage Auctions in 2020, and another PSA 10 sold for $3.75 million in 2021. A PSA 5 is a far more accessible—albeit grail-worthy—way to own the most important card in hockey.
1952 Topps #261 Willie Mays (PSA 1 PR)
This is Mays’ first Topps card (his rookie card is from 1951 Bowman), and it comes from Topps’ first flagship release—a cornerstone of the postwar hobby. Released 74 years ago, the card isn’t easy to come by, and this PSA 1 is a rare chance to own a piece of the set.
The lineup of GOATs spans more than seven decades, from the 1952 Topps Mays to 2009’s Upper Deck Jordan, and features two of the superstars in their rookie year.
