You loved the Rolex Bounty Grail, so we’re running it back. This time, the prize is pure vintage Pokémon royalty: a 1st Edition Shining Mewtwo valued at $37,500.
For a limited time, it’s hidden across Courtyard packs and can be pulled from any pack on the platform. The chase is on.
How It Works
Starting May 27 at 10:00am PT, the $37.5K Shining Mewtwo Bounty Grail goes live across Courtyard. Every pack is fair game.
Your odds scale with the pack you open. Higher-tier packs have better chances, but every pack is still in the hunt. The more premium the pack, the better the odds, while still giving every collector a shot at pulling the same grail.
If you hit the Bounty Grail, it will appear directly in your pack reveal. From there, you’ll have the same options you always do on Courtyard: accept an instant buyback offer, keep it vaulted, list it in the marketplace, or have it shipped home.
Why This Card
1st Edition Shining Mewtwo is one of the defining grails of vintage Pokémon.
Released in Neo Destiny, it comes from the era when Shining Pokémon first debuted. These cards carried extremely low pull rates, and stood apart from almost anything else being printed at the time.

Most notably, the artwork flipped the usual holo formula. Instead of the full image box being holo and the Pokémon staying non-holo, Shining cards made the Pokémon itself the holo element. That made the cards feel special, but also made clean copies much harder to preserve over time.
Add in Mewtwo as one of the original legendary Pokémon, a 1st Edition stamp, and a PSA 10 population of just 235, and this becomes a true vintage monster.
For a limited time, it’s hiding in a pack on Courtyard.
Good luck.
