Announcing the Winners of Our $30K Booster Box Giveaway!
The holidays are here, and there’s no better time for giving back and going back to where it all started. Cracking a sealed 1999 Base Set Booster Box is one of the purest pieces of Pokémon history. These boxes get rarer every year, and the chance to open a pack that’s been sealed for 26 years is something most collectors never get to experience. When we secured one, we knew we wanted to share that moment with the whole community.
Courtyard has been building toward moments like this for nearly five years. Trust and transparency have always been at the core of what we do, and that extends to how we run giveaways. This was our biggest promo yet, and picking the winners was a massive undertaking. Across the promo window, you all earned 9.5 million total points. Unreal.
Every winner was selected fairly using a completely randomized draw, and points-wise it was all across the spectrum: 9 of them had fewer than 100 entries, and our biggest grinder winner had 96,012 entries. To keep things true to that ’99 box-opening ethos, pack assignment is also completely random, no weighing, no sorting, no considerations for light/heavy. Just pure, old-school chance.

Once they land, you’ll have all the usual options:

- List them on the marketplace with 0% seller fees
